Capacity building training on Entrepreneurship for migrant Youth

This training course brought together 28 youth leaders, youth workers and immigrants from Lithuania, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Estonia, Romania, Hungary to meet in Lithuania to explore the issues of social inclusion, entrepreneurship, experience the impact of mindful integration and the business tools that can bring change.

Embodied Peace Building Compassion in Action

Y2Y Initiative was a partner in this project funded by Erasmus+. The project Coordinator was an NGO from Latvia — Piepildīto sapņu istaba. The core of the training course explored such issues as radicalization, development of peace building skills, conflict management, tolerance and respect. Main activity of this project is a training course for youth workers and educators which aims to explore and develop peace building methods that are based on work with body and movement, as well as to enhance participants skills of self-awareness, leadership, empathic and honest communication and conflict resolution.

The training course took place in Pērkone, Latvia and involved 31 participants. It combined verbal and nonverbal peace building approaches, as well as gave tools for personal development, so that peace building is ensure to be a part of all actions of participants and their organisations, as well as their methods are adapted to their realities and implemented on the local level.

More Diversity for Cultural Society

More Diversity for Colourful Society is a youth exchange project funded by the Estonian National Agency «Archimedes» under the umbrella of Erasmus + programme. Project was organized and hosted by Without Borders and Youth to Youth Initiative in Estonia which hosted 33 wonderful participants from 6 countries (Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Lithuania, Egypt and Tunisia). Young people spent 7 days learning about diversity, intercultural dialogue, stereotypes, inclusion and migration. All session were carried by the participants themselves with the support of their team leaders. It was an incredible journey for the organisers, partners and young people. They shared much love, learning, caring, emotional and fun moments during sessions, night games and trips to Tartu and Tallinn.

This video is showing how Interculturality and mutual dialogue is always a memorable experience that get people closer, melt and break many barriers and taboos that might increase the distance between us.

Be My Voice

Be My Voice is a long-term project funded by the EC and Anna Lindh Foundation that aims to give a voice to the disadvantaged and promote the right to freedom of speech in 3 stages:
1. Organisation of #BeMyVoice workshops;
2. A selection of statements recorded during creative workshops organised in all partner countries between January and May 2021;
3. The results were debated during conferences organised by project partners.

One Young World Caucus

From 14 — 15 February 2020, One Young World (OYW) in cooperation with Youth to Youth Initiative hosted the first-ever Moscow Caucus at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The Caucus, held across 2 days, was themed ‘Towards Positive Business and Business Transformation’, focused on various elements of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

ICE Forum

Youth to Youth took part in the design of the educational programme and, in particular, in the design and implementation of the business lab, where young delegates developed and pitched their sustainable business solutions for the region, the best of which will be included in the Roadmap of international youth events until 2023.

As part of the laboratory discussion platform participants discussed how business was transformed during the pandemic, they shared their experience in nature tourism development with regard to fragility of the Arctic ecosystem. The main topic of discussion was business and entrepreneurship in the Arctic: subsidies, public-private partnerships, investments, start-ups, scale-ups and other possible forms of business acceleration in the region.

Y2Y Action Hub took an active part in the development of the projects presented during the event that took place in Salekhard, Russian from 06 to 09 December, 2021.
